Crawford County 7, Schley County 2

          The Eagles put away a close game with three runs in the final two innings, winning the 11-error battle. Riley Scaggs, Rylie Youngblood, Kryssi Maddox, and Kennadi Rozier had two hits each for Crawford County, which got a complete game from Scaggs.


          ELCA took the lead with four in the fifth, then kept ACE’s rally to two in the sixth, the Gryphons committing five errors and being held to only three hits while wasting nine walks. None of ELCA’s runs were earned, and ACE stranded 11 runners.

Hawkinsville 14, Manchester 0

          Nine in the second led to a shortened game. The Red Devils had 13 hits spread out, led by two each from Samanatha Lancaster and Nadia Sloan, nine teammates getting a hit. Lancaster drove in three runs while Sloan and Rylee Sinyard had two RBI each. Kaitlyn Newman fanned eight with a walk in four innings.

Jones County 12, Ola 4

          The Greyhounds went from up 1-0 to down 2-1 to in control with four in the bottom of the third. Destin Howard led the way with three hits and two runs, Megan Hamilton driving in two runs on three hits. Madison Bennett had two hits, two RBI, and three runs. Stephanie Youngblood and Makinsey Long had two hits and two RBI, Youngblood scoring twice. Savannah Williams and Howard teamed for six strikeouts and six hits.

Marion County 5, Taylor County 0

Mary Persons 7, Howard 3

          The Bulldogs broke the tie with four in the seventh and then retired the Huskies in four batters in the seventh. Elle Doolittle had three hits and Sidney Leaptrot two for the Huskies

Perry 3, West Laurens 0

          Madison Homen threw a precision three-hitter, with four hits and one strikeout but no walks, needing only 75 pitches. Raegan Stella and AliRae Dykes had three hits each, Dykes driving in two for the Panthers. KP Smith had two hits for the Raiders.

Stratford 4, Mount de Sales 3

          Three errors led to three unearned runs, but none in the bottom of the seventh when Nadia Reese’s single to left brought in Mary Elaine Mitchell – on base with a two-out single – with the game-winner. The Eagles tied it with three in the second, and survived a five-hit night and being struck out 10 times. Mitchell had three of the Eagles’ hits as Kenna McElmurray got the win. Sarah Hatcher and Heartly Nepveaux had two hits each for MdS, which left nine runners on. Partain gave up four walks and four hits against the 10 strikeouts.

Tattnall 15, FPD 0

          The Trojans put up 11 in the third, and Kenna Epps and Hailey Daughtry teamed for the three-inning one-hitter. Kaitlyn Hallman, Courtney Ball, Lindsey Paul, and Epps had two hits each, Ball with four RBI, two each from Hallman, Paul, and Julia Bridgeman.

Upson-Lee 3, Spalding 1

Veterans 13, Warner Robins 1

          A close game turned into a mercy-rule rout with Veterans’ eight in the third, the Warhawks – now 3-0 in region play - aided by seven Demon errors and nine unearned runs. Emily Myers went all four, with seven strikeouts and a walk, boosted by Jenna Epps’ three hits and her own two-hit night. Katie Killebrew scored three teams from the bottom of the lineup.
