Peach County 5, Savannah Country Day 3; Peach County advances
          A 4-run fourth put Peach County in charge, and starting pitcher D.J. Hudson shut the door on a sixth-inning rally to lift Peach County (21-12) to the road opening-round series win. A year ago, the fourth-seed Trojans lost in three games in the opening round, 13-6, 2-3, 3-1 to Thomasville. The Trojans won with small ball, 5 hits and 5 walks, plus 4 Savannah Country Day errors. Pinch-hitter Thomas Gregory drove in 2 runs in the fourth inning when his grounder was booted in the infield, bringing in Wyatt Blanton and Kenyon Walker. Hudson struck out 9 in the 3-hitter.
