ESPN college analyst, former UGA lineman Stinchcomb to visit Macon TD Club

Matt Stinchcomb of ESPN and the SEC Network is Monday's speaker at the Macon Touchdown Club.
Jones County is the featured high school team.
The players of the week:
FPD quarterback Dalton Cox is the co-back of the week after completing 32 of 49 passes for 381 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for two more in the loss to Lincoln County.
Howard safety Donovan Brantley is the other back, after nine tackles, six assists, a sack, and a fumble recovery in the three-point loss to Mary Persons.
Kicker/punter Kody Burrell of Howard is the special teams pick after averaging 39.5 yards per punt and making both PATs in the loss to Mary Persons.
Stinchcomb's broadcast career started shortly after his football career ended.
Stinchcomb graduated from Parkview after earning All-American honors, which he then earned while playing at Georgia from 1995-98. He earned the Jacobs Blocking Trophy in the SEC in 1998, as well as the Draddy Tropy and Jim Parker Trophy.
He is in the Georgia-Florida Hall of Fame and is a College Football Hall of Fame nominee. Stinchcomb was a first-round draft pick in 1999, and played with Oakland and Tampa Bay until retiring in 2005.
Stinchcomb and former Georgia quarterback David Greene operate the Atlanta office for Seacrest Partners, an investment brokerage firm.
Georgia State head coach Shawn Elliott is next week's speaker and Stratford the featured high school team.
The club meets at the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, in the Rumford Center, at 304 Pierce Ave. It starts at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and the program to begin around 7. Cost is $30 for non-members, who needn't be accompanied by a member.
