College Women's Golf: Mercer has best conference tourney finish
Payton Schanen tied for third to lead Mercer's women to a third-place finish at the Southern Conference women's golf tournament in Hilton Head.
The Bears shot a final-round 306 and actually tied Chattanooga for second, but the Mocs got second in a tie-breaker. Still, it was Mercer's best finish in the SoCon tourney.
