The first football signing day at Warner Robins was a busy one with eight members of the GHSA Class 5A finalist signing scholarship letters of intent with colleges.

The second one, more than two months later, was busy, too.

Four more Demons signed with colleges at a Monday afternoon ceremony at the school.

Linebacker Coby Reed will be close to home, signing with Mercer despite an injury cutting short his senior season.

Defensive back Jarius Evans will need some news clothes as heads north to Iowa Wesleyan.

Center Sam Bish will enroll at the U.S. Merchant Marines, a Division III program in Kings Point, N.Y. that went 6-4 last year.

And defensive lineman Dalton Hedden is going to Highland Community College in Kansas, a team that had nearly 20 Georgia players on the 2017 roster.

Many are very familiar: former Demons Tez Raybon and x, plus Willie Jordan of Northside, Isaiah Gray and Amarrian Brown of Veterans, Jones County trio Darius Johnson, Shareez Hamm, and Jacquez Washington, and Tajh Reese of Macon County.

And assistant coach Maurice Gray is a Warner Robins alum.

FVSU also got standout place-kicker Eli Mashburn and two-way lineman Dillon Braunstein in February, West Georgia signing Julius Cobbs and Jaeven West. Jam’l Dillard signed then with Lenoir-Rhyne, Bobby Kelly with GMC, and Chris Georgia with Murray State.

Christian Armstrong had already signed with Florida State and enrolled early.

That gives the Demons 13 college signees, to go with a number headed to a prep school/academy and a college club team.
