          More than 70,000 showed up on Saturday, and the United say it was a difference-maker.

Bacon, RedWolves get started, get stopped

          Macon and Florence were into the third inning when rain stopped the festivities Sunday with Macon up 1-0.

          It’s been postponed and will be resumed on July 13 as part of a doubleheader. Tickets can be used for any game.

          Macon hosts Gastonia on Tuesday – fireworks – and is at Forest City and Florence before hosting Savannah on Friday.
