Doubles have accounted for half of the eight hits Inciarte now has in 37 at-bats against Scherzer/MB
It wouldn't be surprising for Braves to add bench bat. Flaherty has made just eight starts since late April, has 27 at-bats since June 1 (hit .134). Culberson, Tucker, Reed round out current group./GB
his is Inciarte's first multi-hit game since July 4 and 27th of the season. He had 37 multi-hit performances through last year's first 96 games./MB

Snitker on Sam Freeman: "We need that kid to be a big part of what we're doing down there. He's capable, he's done it before and he'll do it again. We just need to hang with him."/GB
Snitker on Acuna getting thrown out on his single off the CF wall: “He just got caught up watching the ball. That just can’t happen. With a guy like him who can run like that, it’s a double a hundred times out of a hundred."/MB
From Saturday
The Braves will stick with Folty for (Sunday’s) start. (Saturday’s) scheduled starter Sean Newcomb will now start Monday against the Marlins, who have the Majors’ second-worst OPS vs LHPs. Teheran will start Tuesday’s game./MB
Folty is one of 74 starting pitchers who have had at least 50 plate appearances end with a slider. The .124 (17-for-137) batting avg. he's allowed ranks fifth best among this group. Opponents hit .188 (25-for-133) vs. his slider last year./MB
