Macon finally has burly game against Savannah
Another batch of offense in the middle of the game was the key for Macon, which pulled off an 8-0 win at Savannah.
The Bacon are still only 3-7 against the Bananas, and handed Savannah its first shutout of the season.
Macon got a run in the first, then added two in the fifth and sixth innings, and three in the seventh.
Zach Weisz, Cal Gentry (Perry/Georgia College), and Jackson Jones each had two hits for Macon, Weisz and Jared Kapturasky each driving in two runs.
The pitching trio of Zach McCambley, Matt Minnick, and Holden Nix teamed for the six-hit shutout, fanning seven with no walks.
The teams play again on Wednesday in Savannah.

Trip to Philadelphia good for Atlanta team
