Northeast 28, Southwest 22

          Northeast overcame a 22-14 halftime deficit with a score in the third and in the fourth quarters. The Raider ground game was big, with Terrious Miles Jr. getting 170 yards and two scores on 16 carries and Deondre Duehart rushing 16 times for 142 yards and two score on a night of 310 yards rushing. Jaylon Stephens and Jeremiah Roberson led the defense with six tackles each, Roberson with two for loss.

 

Softball

Brentwood 4, Piedmont 1

John Milledge 2, Windsor 0

          The small-ball pitchers duel went to the hosts, for whom both runs were unearned, thanks to two Windsor errors. Brayden Latimer whiffed 10 with a strikeout for John Milledge, while Sierra Ussery struck out seven with a walk for Windsor in a game of five total hits.

Gatewood 3, West Laurens 1

Mount de Sales 3, Stratford 0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-19)
