Third period does in the Mayhem

Sometimes, playing well doesn’t lead to a win as much as playing clutch.

Peoria did the latter in a 5-2 win over Macon at the Coliseum. The Riverman won 5-3 on Friday.

Peoria keeper Jeremy Brodeur stopped 20 first-period shots, setting the tone for the night.

          Macon hosts Knoxville on Friday.
