West Laurens in the hunt for GHSA state wrestling title, 10 Central Georgians to wrestle for titles

          The Class 4A championships will be mighty suspenseful Saturday at the GHSA traditional wrestling state tournament.

          West Laurens dropped to second in 4A, 3.5 points behind Woodward Academy.

          The Raiders have four wrestlers in the final, the War Eagles six. But West Laurens also has three wrestlers competing in the consolation semifinals, to none for Woodward.

          Ironically, Woodward and West Laurens won’t go against each other in any final.

          Action continues Friday night with consolation semifinals.
