Signing Day, The Sequel, is here
There may not be much suspense or hoopla – but there will be hype and hyperbole – for the state’s top programs, but where Central Georgia players go is likely to be a chunk more interesting than the early signing period.
Mercer will host a reception at 5:30 p.m. at the Drake Field House, where Bobby Lamb and his coaches – including some new hires – will talk about the Bears’ additions. They signed 17 in December, including Colton Dingmore from Mary Persons and Dylan Fromm from Warner Robins.
Some ceremony schedules: Bleckley County, 3:15 p.m., media center; Dublin, 10:30 p.m., school auditorium; Houston County, 1:15 p.m., media center; Howard, 10:30 a.m.; Jones County, 11:15 a.m., auditorium; Peach County, 6 p.m., auditorium; Perry, 1:30 p.m., auditorium; Southwest, 1:30 p.m.; Warner Robins, 2:30 p.m. cafeteria; Westside, 1:30 p.m.
Teams should send full information, including stats and resume info, to centralgasports@gmail.com once signings are complete. Come back to The Sports Report a few times for updates, high school and college, which should be pretty complete by mid-afternoon.
