Braves Report

Atlanta’s offense made up for another sluggish pitching start, and the bullpen more than sealed the deal as the Braves pulled away late for a 12-5 win at Pittsburgh.

The top four in Atlanta’s lineup – Ricardo Acuna, Dansby Swanson, Freddie Freeman, and Josh Donaldson – combined to go 8 for 20 with eight runs and six RBI, Austin Riley adding a three-run homer.

Four relievers followed Max Fried (4 IP, 5 runs) and allowed one hit, combining for five strikeouts and three walks.
