Commitment update: Houston County, Dublin, Westside, Bleckley County, West Laurens, Northeast in FB, BKB, BSB

            Some recent commitment announcements, starting with Tuesday afternoon’s decision by Houston County’s Wesley Steiner to verbally commit to Auburn.

            He was down to, as of June, the Tigers plus Georgia Tech, Stanford, and LSU.

Westside’s Jayland Parker on Tuesday night chose Colorado.

            Others recently include:

            Dublin’s Romello Height to Miami for football, Houston County pitcher Jaden Woods to Georgia, Bleckley County baseball player Lane Kitchens to Valdosta State and teammate Andrew Thompson to South Georgia State, West Laurens defensive standout Deryk Jackson to Kentucky, Northeast boys basketball player Darius Dunn to Pitt (N.C.) Community College.

            Two Bleckley County football players listed their current top teams: offensive lineman Amarius Sims to Georgia, LSU, Alabama, South Carolina, Auburn, Florida, Clemson, and Florida State; and teammate Bryce Bailey to Georgia State, Western Kentucky, Florida Atlantic, Coastal Carolina, and Marshall.
