Braves Report
The offense so quieted on Tuesday but so noisy on Wednesday was busy again as Atlanta powered five home runs en route to a 12-6 win over Philadelphia.
Dansby Swanson drove in five runs with two homers for icing after the Braves trailed by four after one and then took the lead on Ozzie Albies dinger in the third.
Both teams had 12 hits, but the Phillies stranded five more runners.
Nick Markakis also had three hits. Freddie Freeman and ALbies had two hits each, Albies driving in three with his homer and Freeman one with his. Josh Donaldson chipped in a solo homer.
Mike Soroka got popped for four runs and nine hits in 4.2 innings. The bullpen savied the day, A.J. Minter getting the win with help from Chad Sobotka and Luke Jackson.
Atlanta opened a 6-game lead over Washington and 6.5 over Philadelphia.

Houston County’s Locey promoted to where his dad pitched
Tony Locey is now in Peoria, 25 years after his dad pitched there. Locey was bumped up from the rookie league to the Class A Midwest League.

Macon-Forest City game loses to weather
Macon led host Forest City 2-0 through an inning and a half, and the weather came and ended the night.
The game was cancelled.
Macon remained a game behind Savannah.
The Bacon are at Lexington County on Friday, host Savannah on Saturday, and then are off until visiting Florence on Wednesday.
