Attorneys blast Wisconsin for delay on Cephus
Quintez Cephus and his attorneys held a press conference Monday in Madison, Wisc., supported by Wisconsin players.
Cephus was reserved and humble, but his attorney was fired up in blasting Wisconsin in how it is handling the petition for reinstatement.

The Demons were held to one hit in the three-inning by Olivia Brown, who struck out four. Bobbi Poff had three hits and two RBI for the Bears from the bottom of the order.

TCS committed seven errors. JMA was led by two hits and two RBI from Cadence Bandows, and a 13-strikeout no-hitter from Brayden Latimer.

Veterans’ comeback with three runs in the seventh came up short, the Warhawks stranding the tying run at second. Terra Odom and Raegan Stella had two hits each for Perry, Alli Eideon had four hits and three RBI for Veterans.

Merena Knowles drove in four runs on two hits, and Sydney Langdon (7 Ks, 0 BBs, 5 IP) and Caitlyn Lancaster teamed for a no-hitter.

CGTC adds a familiar name
Central Georgia Tech has signed former Taylor County standout Rasheka Simmons for women’s basketball.
She was a freshman at Santa Fe (Fla.) College in 2016-17, but didn’t play.
The Titans also added Jayde Jackson of Cornerstone High in Alabama.
