An eight-run fourth put it away for the Gryphons, aided by six Peach County errors. Mary Elizabeth Ballard threw a four-inning two-hitter, Dixiana Sims with two hits and three RBI and Taylor Anne Martin with three RBI. Alex Scott had both Trojan hits.

Central 12, Warner Robins 3
Crawford County 9, Manchester 1
Both teams had four errors, but Manchester’s hurt more, the Eagles getting seven runs in the second. Jaimee Hudson had two hits and Aleigha Evans two RBI for Crawford County. Kiara Sears threw a five-inning two-hitter.
Fullington 18, Terrell 7
John Milledge 2, Brentwood 1
Brentwood stranded the tying run on first in the seventh, Brayden Latimer getting a game-ending pop up. JMA got two in the third, with a sac fly from Madison Brown and RBI single from Hannah Reece. Latimer fanned six with two walks in the complete-game win, aided by three hits from Cadence Bandows and two from Reece.
Houston County 8, Rutland 2
Madi Campbell paced the 14-hit Bear offense with three hits and two RBI, with two-hit games from Kendall Huelsman, Lauren Ross, and Ansley Garland, and two-RBI games from Huelsman and Makayla Krepps. Taylor Stewart and Alexis Hollis had two hits apiece for Rutland.
Howard 12, Veterans 11
Sidney Leaptrot came in with the winning run on Elle Doolittle’s one-out fly to right for the Huskies in the 10th, the tying run coming in on Karli Buchanan’s single to score Beth Dorough one batter earlier. Veterans had gunned down a runner at the plate for the first out in the inning. Howard survived a mind-boggling nine errors and nine walks. Sydnee McElveen had four hits and Abby Mitchell three for Howard. Kayla Roberts, Leaptrot, and Bailey Moon chipped in two hits each. Buchanan, Mitchell, and McElveen had two RBI. Caitlyn Snellgrove topped Veterans with three hits and three RBI, Jenna Thomas and Kaylee Brown two hits each, Brown driving in three runs and Catherine Hickey two RBI. Lost in the offensive barrage? Doolittle recorded her 500th career strikeout.
Lamar County 11, Callaway 10
Stratford 7, Strong Rock 2
Four runs in the sixth gave Stratford a late cushion. Nadia Reese had three hits, and Paige Gray and Mary Spencer Reeves two hits each, Gray driving in four runs. Kenna McElmurray whiffed 10 with no walks in the complete-game win.
Tattnall 11, Mount de Sales 3
Six in the first put the Trojans in control. Kaitlyn Hallman led Tattnall with three hits and three RBI, Lindsey Paul adding two hits and three RBI. Logan Oller had two hits and Kaci Paul two RBI. Henderson Hurdle had two hits for the Cavs. Kenna Epps struck out six in the five-inning win.
Union Grove 5, Jones County 3
Union Grove scored in the first four innings and held on. Mackenzie Kilpatrick had two hits for the Greyhounds, while Destin Howard fanned eight with seven walks in 3.1 innings.
Westfield 4, Windsor 0
The Hornets put three up in the first and rolled, Windsor suffering from three errors along the way. Marena Knowles had two hits and Avery Adams two RBI for Westfield, Emma Williams with the eight-strikeout four-hitter.

Braves Report
The action got going early, with Ronald Acuna getting hit on the first pitch and Brian Snitker getting ejected a minute or two later.
A bruised outfielder felt better, and the Braves didn’t miss the boss, taking the lead with single runs in the fourth and fifth and control with three in the seventh en route to a 5-1 win over Miami before less than 22,000 at SunTrust.
Dallas Keuchel went six, and got his 1,000th career strikeout. He fanned seven with two walks and six hits, giving up one run. Luke Jackson, Shane Greene, and Chris Martin followed.
Adeiny Hechavarria ended the game with a phenomenal play, snagging a ball past him and throwing out Neil Walker from his backside.
Freddie Freeman drove in four runs with three hits, passing the 100-RBI mark for the year. He recorded his 15th multi-homer game, belting bombs in the fourth and fifth
Catcher Brian McCann was pulled after three as a precaution with some knee soreness.
