Braves Report
Rhys Hoskins and Jose Pirela belted two-run homers amid a rough Dallas Keuchel night in Philadelphia’s 5-4 win over the host Braves.
The Phillies scored five in the fourth for a 5-2 lead and held on as Atlanta scored single runs in the eighth and ninth.
Adieny Hechavarria’s pinch-hit a homer in the eighth and Adam Duvall opened the ninth with a blast, but the Braves stranded runners on first and third.
Atlanta needs a combo of three wins and Washington losses to finally clinch the division.
Keuchel had won five straight but struck out only two with a walk in five innings and 95 pitches.
Atlanta stranded 10, twice as many as Philadelphia, which got 13 strikeouts from six pitchers.
