ACE 8, Peach County 0
Central 19, Westside 1
Crawford County 4, Taylor County 1
Rylie Youngblood had two hits and Jaimee Hudson scored twice for the Eagles, who put three across in the second. Kryssi Maddox threw a five-inning complete game, with three hits, three strikeouts, and no walks. Gracie James had two hits for the Vikings.
Eastside 1, Monticello 0
The pitching for both teams was there, but Eastside had just enough offense and a hair better pitching with a one-hitter.
Jones County 6, Hampton 4
Hampton stranded nine runners, mostly against relief pitcher Savannah Williams, who went the final 6.1 innings and struck out seven with one walk and five hits on Jones County’s senior night. Down 3-2 after one, the Greyhounds had consecutive two-run innings and held on, despite three errors. Madison Bennett and Kloey Goines went 4-for-7 from the top two spots in the lineup, while Mackenzie Kilpatrick and Destin Howard each drove in two runs from the 3-4 slots.
Tattnall 9, West Laurens 1
The Trojans didn’t need much help from five Raider errors, getting three-hit games from Jaely Darley and Kaitlyn Hallman, plus a two-hit, four-RBI night from Courtney Ball. Kenna Epps chipped in two hits to go with a five-inning complete game.
Veterans 9, Dodge County 0
The Warhawks marched out to six runs in the first two innings of the five-inning game. Emily Myers was efficient, with four strikeouts, four hits, and two walks, boosted by Trinity Thiel’s 3-for-3 night with five RBI. Jenna Thomas, Nicole Chavous, Kaylee Brown, Alli Eidson, and Madison Bunnell had two hits each for the 11-8 Warharwks.
