Softball standout to join Georgia College hall
Mandy (Chandler) Sibilsky’s career was clearly a hall of fame one, and now it’s official.
Sibilsky joins tennis’ Erick Siqueira as inductees to the Georgia College Athletics Hall of Fame.
They’ll be honored as part of an Alumni Awards Ceremony on Nov. 2.

Braves Report
With both teams future for the season long-ago decided, the suspense lay with Pete Alonso and the rookie home run record.
He belted his 52nd bomb of the year to tie Aaron Judge for the record and lead the Mets to a 4-2 win over Atlanta.
The Braves led 2-1 after one, but the Mets scored one in the third and in the fourth, and Atlanta went on to strand 10 runners. Dansby Swanson had three hits and Josh Donaldson two.
