The Hornets swept the GISA 3A first-round playoff series. Sydney Langdon whiffed 17 with one walk, throwing 109 pitches. Marena Knowles and Brooke Corlee had three hits each in the opener, Lindsey Easom adding two hits. Knowles drove in five runs on three hits with three runs in the nightcap. Ellie Williams, Langdon, and Corlee had two-hit games.
