The Demons stormed out to a 16-3 lead after one. Jordyan Keith led a balance offense with 21 points Greg Jones added 12, while Rashuan Tomlin and Jaden Terry had 10 each. H.B. Morgan had 20 for the Bears. Warner Robins (4-1) is at Jones County on Saturday.

Alumni Update
Area foursome in Pitt-Tech game
Four Central Georgians played in Pittsburgh’s 34-20 win Thursday night over Georgia Tech.
Tech LB Quez Jackson (Peach County) had 10 tackles, and returned an interception for six yards. Senior defensive lineman Djimon Brooks had six tackles in his final home game, and DB Tobias Oliver (Northside) played but recorded no stats.
Westside alum Jaylon Barden played but recorded no stats.

COVID hitting Central Georgia basketball teams
Schedules are getting a little unsettled for Central Georgia basketball teams.
Tuesday’s Northeast-Baldwin boys game was canceled, while the girls played.
Central’s boys are on hold for practice and games until further notice, as per a release Wednesday morning from Bibb County athletics, Friday’s and Saturday’s games canceled.
Saturday’s Northside-Perry girls game is out, but the boys are still on. Friday’s Putnam County-Greene County games are postponed. In mid-November, Southwest’s games through Dec. 4 had been canceled, but that situation hasn’t been updated.
