          Athens scored the game-winner in the top of the seventh. Dawson Brown, Brett McHugh, and Bo Hatcher had two hits each for Tattnall, which had one more hit than Athens.

          Eighth Rutland errors led to seven unearned runs. Casen Summerday fanned nine in 4.2 innings for the Hurricanes, who got three hits from Brayden Pollard.

          The Huskies led 8-1 after three in the first game, Scott Campbell with three hits and two runs and Chris Andrews with two hits and two runs. Campbell fanned five. Johnson County took a 5-0 lead after one in the nightcap.

          The hosts led 6-0 after one. Caden Swancey had three hits and Nate Howard two for Mary Persons.

          The Eagles led 6-2 after two, and cruised. Levi Walker and Tyler Wilson had three hits each, Dylan Franks and Hunter Johnson two each. Deonte Lowe drove in four runs. Tyler Wilson went six innings and Franks one in teaming for a four-hitter.

          The Trojans gave up six unearned runs. Tate Marks, Zack Spivey, and Owen Brady had two hits each for Piedmont.

Cooper Baskette had two hits and two runs for the Eagles, who had all unearned runs. Lawson Cole fanned six in 5.2 innings for the win, Stratford giving up five unearned runs.
