Wesleyan announces 2020-21 basketball class
Tattnall alum Fink leads Macon past Savannah
Logan Fink’s lone hit was a big one, a walk-off run-scoring single to center to give Macon a 5-4 win over visiting Savannah.
Collin Price strolled in with the winning run.
Cole Gambill had three hits – a home run short of the cycle - two RBI and a stolen base to lead Macon’s seven-hit attack, Josh Hood adding two hits. Fink, now at Kennesaw State, hit the walk-off with one out.
Braden Scott went the final 2.1 innings for the win for the Bacon, who had a 4-2 lead in the fourth only for Savannah’s single runs in the fifth and seventh to tie it.
The teams will play Wednesday in Savannah.
