Around/About Central Georgia
Dublin-Wheeler County officially postponed
Dublin’s football team went into quarantine last week, which meant schedule changes were coming.
That was made official when the game Friday with Wheeler County was postponed on Tuesday. It’s a Region 4-A Public game the teams hope can be played.
Dublin has no open dates left, and Wheeler County is open on Oct. 6. But with the fluid scheduling situation, there’s a chance that the teams may find out on a Monday or Tuesday that they could play on a given week.
