          Four runs in the second put ACE in control. Blake Smith, Fisher Timms, and Brayden Nesmith had two hits each, Timms and Nesmith with three RBI each. Chandler Mitchell went five innings for the win.

Fitzgerald 6, Bleckley County 5

          Fitzgerald went from a 5-1 deficit to the lead with four in the fifth and one in the sixth. The Royals were held to four hits.

Jeff Davis 6, East Laurens 3

Peach County 11, Central 1

          Central was within striking distance for while, trailing 4-1 after five, and then the Trojans exploded for seven in the sixth. Both teams had only three hits, but Peach County was aided by four errors and 14 walks. Bryce Harrelson, Michael Kovitch, and Jordan Lynn had two RBI each for the Trojans, who got six strikeouts and a walk from Ke’Andre Towns in 5.2 innings.

Piedmont 11, John Milledge 4

Upson-Lee 15, Crisp County 5

          The Knights pulled away late, led by Jake Willis, who went 3 for 3 with three runs and three RBI. Austin Hendricks drove in four runs on two hits, while Jordan Wainwright and Brooks Gulley had two hits each and Logan Spivey three RBI.

West Laurens 10, Howard 0

          Sean Gorney and Gavin White tamed for a five-inning two-hitter, the Raiders getting two hits from Matthew Mebane and Jace Thompson and two RBI from Tyler Franks. Howard (7-9/5-4) is at Rutland on Friday while West Laurens hosts Perry at 5:30 for the region title.
