ACE 13, Howard 8
Gavin West, Ashton Donaldson, and Trevor Derrick had two hits, with two-RBI nights from West, Derrick and JD Lewis for the Gryphons. Lewis and Sam Whitley scored three times. Jayden Washington had two of Howard’s six hits, while Andrew Garnett and Lee Martin drove in two runs each.

The hosts stunned the visitors with three in the bottom of the seventh for the walk-off, the tie and winning runs coming on a no-out double. It wasn’t a stellar defensive evening, with three errors by the Bears and five by the Grangers. Gage Harrelson had three hits and two RBI at leadoff, with Andrew Dunford, Eli Stephens, and Elijah Smith with two hits each.
Lamar County 11, Jackson 1
A five-run fifth ended the game early, Nathaniel Tidwell striking out eight in a no-hitter. Talon Dender, Cam King, and Rhett Blount had two hits each, with homers from Kale Bryan and Donovan Sanford.

Evan Helms had two of Upson-Lee’s three hits.
Mount de Sales 12, GMC 10
Kyle Shaughnessy drilled a double to center to bring in Glenkeith Phillip and Hayden Partain with the lead runs in the top of the 11th, and Shaughnessy then retired the Bulldogs in order in the bottom half after a leadoff single to get the win, surviving seven errors and six unearned runs. Jordan Green had three hits and four RBI for MdS, Drew Senn with two hits and two RBI. Shaughness, Levi Siebenmorgan, Elijah Freeman, and Jared Diaz combined for 24 strikeouts and seven walks, while GMC’s Tyler Saunders, Cayden Avant, and Christian Black struck out 13 with nine walks.
Putnam County 7, Monroe Area 5
Gerald Kilgore’s double to right brought in the tie and lead runs in the top of the seventh, reliever Chase Lupton stranding three runners in the bottom half. Kilgore had three hits and three RBI, Lupton with two hits and two RBI.
West Laurens 12, Dodge County 1
The Raiders erupted for seven in the second to take control of the five-inning game. Matthew Thigpen belted a grand slam, while Janson Meeks drove in three runs and Tucker Brown two in the six-hit night.
