The Huskies needed 3.5 innings, boosted by homers from Sydnee McElveen and Abby Hardy, and a 3-for-3 night from Trinity Wilkins. Howard sent 11 batters to the plate in the third inning. Howard (3-4/1-1) hosts Griffin on Tuesday, while West Laurens is at Spalding on Tuesday.

The Vikings kicked it around for five errors and five unearned runs. Ana Land went 4 for 4, with 3-for-4 nights from Ansley Brooks and Ashley Tyson, who had three RBI. Addison Arnold and Kaylee MacDonald had two hits each for the Vikings.
