Breagan Cravey and Eli Mullis teamed for a four-hitter, with seven Royals getting a hit and five an RBI. Ayden Hollis had two of Lamar County’s four hits.

Blessed Trinity overcame Houston County’s two-run first, taking a 4-3 lead in the fifth and adding one in the seventh, the Bears kicking it around with three errors, giving up four earned runs in the first battle of 6A’s top two teams. Kai Decker had three of Houston County’s six hits. The Bears trailed 1-0 in the nightcap until getting two in the sixth, countered by one by the Titans. Houston County got two more in the top of the seventh on two walks, an Andrew Dunford single, and an error.

The Gators put up three in the second, and that was enough in the opener. Their four-run fifth led the way in the nightcap.
John Milledge 10, Heritage 3; JMA 12, Heritage 8
Briggs Eady went 4 for 4 with two homers to lead John Milledge in the first game, Jackson Thomas striking out 11 in 5.2 innings. The Trojans trailed 8-6 entering the seventh, and exploded for six runs in the top half and retired the Hawks in order in the bottom half. Thomas and Brady Rollins each had two hits.

The Trojans took early control with five in the first, adding single runs in the next two before the Cavs put up five runs. Tattnall sealed it with two in the sixth. Tattnall repeated the first inning in the nightcap, as did Mount de Sales with five in the fourth for the lead. But Tattnall won it with four in the sixth.
