Mount de Sales’ Williams leads Kennesaw State to rout
Mount de Sales grad Dexter Williams II has been working to start consistently, and Thursday night may be the key for that the rest of the season.
The redshirt senior, who has played at Indiana and Georgia Southern, completed 27 of 36 for 290 yards and four touchdowns in KSU’s 35-7 romp over Louisiana Tech.
The 27 completions set a Kennesaw State single-game record, the four touchdowns tying the KSU record.
Williams has completed 49 of 88 passes in four games this season for 526 yards, with four touchdowns and one interception. He has rushed 26 times for 91 yards and a score.
