           Maxwell was pretty much on point last week with Central Georgia teams.

          Everybody on the planet was wrong about Lamar County and Berrien, the 32-point underdogs picking up the win.

          The only other underdog in an area game to win? Warner Robins. FPD and Brookstone was a pick ‘em, Brookstone winning 13-0.

          This week, the three GIAA teams from Central Georgia are favored, but only Jasper County and West Laurens are GHSA favorites, out of nine area games.

          Three Central Georgia teams are underdogs by 6 or less.

          A year ago, five of 12 area GHSA teams were favored, and four ended up winning, putting Houston County, Peach County Dublin, and Northeast into the next round.
