Flag football playoffs get going
Nine teams from Central Georgia will take on the cold and maybe wet weather as the GHSA flag football state playoffs get going.
Three area schools are hosts: Northside, Westside, and Washington County.
Westside again has the best record among Central Georgia teams at 16-0. Jonesboro and Therell are the only other undefeated teams.
Westside, Washington County, Dodge County, and Peach County all opened up last year’s playoffs with two wins to advance. Dodge County eliminated Westside before losing to champ Southwest Bulloch, while WACO was knocked out by runner-up Columbus.
