Luther Williams to host SIAC baseball tournament
Four days of postseason college baseball at Luther Williams Field gets underway early Thursday with the beginning of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference baseball tournament.
Albany State and Savannah State are the two teams likely to have a little home-field advantage as the only teams from Georgia in the tournament.
The Tigers open action at 9 a.m. against Benedict, while the rams face Miles at 6 p.m., games set on a three-hour schedule.
There is no cost to attend.
