          An early pitching duel turned into a hitter’s game, Florence taking a 7-1 with a barrage in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings.
          Macon was credited with 5 errors and 10 walks yet only two unearned runs. The Bacon had 10 hits, led by 3 from Jaxon Murphy, but stranded 14 runners, one more than Florence.
          The Bacon host High Point-Thomasville on Tuesday and the Forest City Owls on Thursday.
