GMC JC stays in second
Sandhills Community College sizzled and expanded its lead over GMC JC in the NJCAA national golf championship on Thursday.
The school from North Carolina shot a 12-under third round to take a 39-shot lead into the final round.
The Bulldogs were 9 over, the second-best round of the day and are 31 over, owning a 15-shot lead over DuPage (Ill.).
GMC’s Ross Tetrault is in fifth place after a 2-over round, falling 10 shots behind Sandhills’ Vegans Melen, who is in first by four strokes.
