GMC JC welcomes Central Georgia Tech
GMC has waited a long time for a nearby junior-college team, and Central Georgia Tech came along.
One of the nation’s top junior college programs welcomes one of the nation’s newest junior college teams again Saturday in the opener for both teams.
Last year, GMC rolled as expected, winning 65-0. The Bulldogs finished 10-2 and in the top 5.
It was the only loss for the Titans, who went 10-1 against a schedule of club and prep teams. This year, CGTC faces GMC twice, hosting the Bulldogs on Nov. 1, as well as Louisburg College twice and Gordon State.
CGTC’s roster doesn’t list hometowns or high schools, while GMC’s only has less than half of its players backgrounds listed.
