The Macon Touchdown Club picked players from Peach County, Rutland, and Windsor as honorees.
Back: Junior running back Zion Ellison of Peach County rushed 10 times for 149 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 54-14 win over Westside.
Back: Junior Zamerian Johnson of Rutland completed 4 of 5 passes for 133 yards and a touchdown while rushing 10 times for 145 yards and 3 scores in the 55-32 win over Southwest. He also had 5 tackles and 2 pass breakups.
Lineman: Senior linebacker and H-back Hunter McGregor of Windsor had 13 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 pass deflections, and a QB hurry in the 30-17 win over Gatewood. He also ran 3 times for 58 yards and a touchdown, caught three passes for 25 yards, and graded out at 90 percent.
Podcaster Crain to speak at Macon Touchdown Club
Podcaster Jake Crain is Monday night’s speaker at the Macon Touchdown Club.
The program begins at 6:30 p.m., and includes dinner, awards, and the talk. Cost is $35 for non-members. Membership for the year is $250. Georgia Southern head coach Clay Helton is next week’s speaker.
