Catching Up With: Perry grad Ahmad Gordon
Central Georgia Tech’s young program picked up its biggest win ever last week when it stunned GMC JC 20-17.
A big reason was Perry grad Ahmad Gordon, who ran 20 times for 115 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown. He’s 92 yards from 1,000 with a game left.
Gordon set records galore at Perry, and helped the Panthers to the Class 4A state title in 2023.
The 2025 grad initially signed with Valdosta State, and is a freshman at CGTC and full NCAA qualifier, so he has full eligibility left with an NCAA program.
