Henley maintains status quo at Players
The fourth round of The Players Championship was a ride for Russell Henley.
There were the six birdies, and there were the five bogeys, and one stinging double bogey.
It all added up to an even day and a 6-under-par tournament, good for a tie for 13th.
That tied his best finish in the tournament, in 2022. This time, his scores rose each day.
Henley and Scottie Scheffler were among those who turned in double bogeys on No. 4. Henley went in the water on his second shot, and put a 29-foot bogey putt to within three feet.
He then stumbled through three straight bogeys for a 3-over front nine, countered by a 3-under back nine.
Henley, tied with eight others, took home $409,027.
