Mack McCord has been on the job as head football coach at Wilkinson County since February.
The school system finally decided to share the news with the outside world on Wednesday with a social media release.
McCord has been in the house-selling and house-buying mode for two months in getting ready for the Warriors, who
The Trenton, Ga. native is an Army veteran who has degrees from Tennessee-Chattanooga and North Georgia.
He came to Wilkinson County from Stone Mountain after a year, and he has been at Johnson, Forsyth Central, Ridgeland, and McIntosh County, having entered the coaching world from the business world.
He has also coached baseball.
