Henley eyes a return to consistency, contention
More than a quarter of the time this season, Russell Henley has missed the cut.
In his last four tournaments, Henley has digressed each week, from a tie for third to 25th to 49th to a missed cut.
Only four times in the last 16 rounds has Henley shot below 70.
Whether the third Charles Schwab Challenge sets up to right his ship is a guess, since this is only the third version of the tournament,
Henley tied for 58th in the 2018 Fort Worth Invitational and tied for 16th in the 2023 Schwab Challenge. Oddly, he was 2-under in both tournaments.
Henley tees off on No. 10 at 9:06 a.m. with Justin Thomas and Sungjae Im.
