Signings
Perry had a full signing day on Wednesday, with baseball, football, and soccer. Baseball: Janaris Reeves with LaGrange; Football: Quentin Crane and Johntavious Carswell with Fort Valley State, and the trio of Castor Engelbach, Reid Ginn,and Quintez Alexander with LaGrange.
And soccer: Juliana Marfell with Truett McConnell, Grant Vickers with the United States Sports University in Alabama, Trent Torres with the 12I Soccer Academy in England, and Madisyn Gallagher with ABAC.
Honor Roll/Alumni Update
Houston County grad Vick Gann was named Freshman of the Year and Gold Glove winner in the NAIA Continental Athletic Conference. The freshman is batting .402 with 41 hits, 26 RBI, and 43 runs, plus 16 steals in 17 tries. He’s fielding .982 entering the NAIA tournament beginning Monday.
