A Raider, Patriot, and Charger take Macon TD Club honors
Back: Northeast sophomore quarterback Jordan Wiggins completed 20 of 29 pass attempts for 232 yards and 3 touchdowns in the 39-0 win over Westside. He added 7 carries for 50 yards and 2 scores, for 282 yards total offense and 5 touchdowns.
Lineman: Southwest senior linebacker Justin Humphrey had 6 solo tackles and 11 assists, including 4 for loss and 3.5 sacks in the 27-6 loss to Howard.
Special Teams: Senior receiver/returner Justin Hodges oof Central had 112 yards in punt returns, including one for a touchdown in the weather-shortened 30-0 win over Greenville.
Players from Mount de Sales, Tattnall, and Stratford took honors two weeks ago when only the GIAA played.
Back: Junior athlete Bryson Harrell of Mount de Sales had 2 carries for 41 yards, 4 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown, and a 51-yard punt return for a touchdown in the 33-14 win over Central Fellowhsip.
Lineman: Tattnall senior linebacker Andrew Pecorilli had 6 solo tackles and 5 assistsm, one tackle for loss and 2 fumble recoveries – including one returned for a touchdown – in the 47-7 win over Gatewood.
Special Teams: Junior kicker Brady Flournoy of Stratford put 5 of 6 kickoffs into the end zone in the 35-7 win over Windsor.
