College Baseball: Georgia College takes PBC title, again; gets a second seed in NCAAs

          Georgia College got past USC Aiken 7-5 on Sunday, first pitch coming 11 hours after the Bobcats beat UNC Pembroke, to win its fourth Peach Belt Conference tournament title, on top of the regular-season title.

          The Bobcats won two games on Saturday to advance. Sunday night, they got a second seed in the NCAA tournament.

          Josef Martinez and Ezequiel Barco scored to give Atlanta 2-1 win at Orlando.

College Baseball: Georgia salvages series at Florida

          Kevin Smith does well on his birthday, and did so again to lead Georgia to a 4-1 win over top-ranked Florida.

          Smith celebrated his 21st birthday with a seven-inning stint to improve to 7-1, and 3-0 on his birthday.

College Softball: Georgia gets host site for NCAA Tourney; 

          Georgia's trip to the SEC tournament was short, but it didn't matter much, Georgia getting to host a regional in the NCAA Tournament.

          Harvard, Northwestern, and California will make their way to Athens for the double-elimination weekend that starts on Friday.

          The Bulldogs feature Stratford alum Mary Wilson Avant, as well as Kaylie Harding and Karlie Harding from GMC, and Kylie Bass from Jones County

          Atlantic Sun champ Kennesaw State heads south to the Tallahassee Regional with Auburn, Jacksonville State, and Florida State.
