Bibb and Laurens counties lead Central Georgia on "most positive" list

          Some of Central Georgia’s top high school athletes are also among its most positive.

          Nearly two dozen area high schoolers made the Positive Athlete.org list. Positive Athlete is “a movement by high-character professional athletes tied to professional and collegiate sports teams to promote the benefits of "positivity" to young athletes.”

          Among the athletes involved: Hines Ward, Brian Jordan, Aaron Murray, Rennie Curran, and Tyrone Poole.

          Six Bibb County athletes from five schools - two from FPD – made the list. Laurens County was represented by five athletes and three schools.

          Dublin was named the most positive high school, and Veterans swimmer Hayden Chunn was the state’s most positive athlete in that sport.
