United get past Montreal

          The weather in Montreal wasn’t great, but Josef Martinez was.

          Martinez led Atlanta to a 2-1 win over Montreal, surviving a lightning delay at halftime.

No Bacon baseball

          Macon’s trip to Florence was a wash, getting rained out. The teams will play two on Aug. 2 in Macon.

          The Bacon host Lexington County on Monday. Six games remain.
