Georgia outscored South Carolina 22.5-13.5 in the two-day event.
Pyon, a Rutland grad and Mercer signee, struggled with bogeys and double bogeys Sunday in losing all three matches to Chloe Holder.
Stratford junior Samuel Barrow lost 6-0, 6-1 to 18th-seeded Ishaan Ravichander in the USTA Boys 18 and 16 national championship in Michigan.
In doubles action Sunday, Barrow teamed with William Fullett of Cumming against Jett Middleton and Quinn Vandercasteele.
Barrow and Fullett pulled off the win over the 26th seed, 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (4). They will the team of Jacob Lowen and Carter Morgan, who won their first-round match 6-1, 7-5.
