There was, in fact, some drama involving a Central Georgia football player and his decision.

Having committed over the summer to Miami, Dublin’s Romello Height remained in play, and Auburn kept working. Finally, after a visit to The Plains, Height re-opened things, between Miami and Auburn.
And Height is headed to Auburn, and will enroll in January.
Jones County wideout Jontavis Robertson settled on Duke over Indiana and Georgia, which Sports Illustrated called a “coup.”
GMC JC and John Milledge alum is headed to Savannah State.
There are two more days to this football signing period for high school players signing with Division I programs, and through Jan. 15 for Division I and II transfers. FYI: Division I includes Football Bowl Subdivision and Football Championship Subdivision programs.
The next signing day is Feb. 5.
Links to stories involving players are included. Links for the state’s Division I programs are on the college page with lists of signees.
