Signings update
Former FPD and Warner Robins defender C.J. Harris has found an FBS college football home, Arkansas State.
Harris transferred from FPD to Warner Robins, and was offered preferred walk-on status at Auburn, but his taking of cannabis oil to battle epilepsy led to a pulling of that offer.
Initial reports that the offer was pulled because of the use of any cannabis product were quickly countered by a report that the Auburn medical team had concerns about the epilepsy and the potential of head trauma from the contact sport.
Harris played in 2018 at East Coast Prep School in Massachusetts and 2019 at Highland (Kan.) Community College, one of the top JC programs in the nation.
The medication had kept Harris seizure free for a long period of time.
