ELCA scored three in the third to win, three runs coming unearned as ACE had three errors.
Central 8, Peach County 4
Eight Peach County errors gave Central six unearned runs. The Chargers’ Dana walker had eight strikeouts and two walks, plus five hits in the complete-game win. Zurri Davis had three hits and three RBI for Central, Akishi Pertillo adding two hits. Cheyenne McDonald had two hits and Makenzie Hooper two RBI for the Trojans.
East Laurens 12, Northeast 0
The Falcons put up nine in the first of the four-inning game. DeAsia Lowther sat down 12 batters with no walks while giving up one hit in four innings on 53 pitches. Laura Young, Jacey Harvey, and DeAsia Thomas each had two hits for the Falcons, Harvey and Thomas each with two RBI.
GMC 18, Lincolin County 0
Houston County 15, Warner Robins 0
The Bears rolled to the non-region three-inning win, Rylee Lamb and Hannah Cantrell throwing the shortened one-hitter. Bobbi Poff belted three hits – two doubles – and brought in five runs, while Lauren Ross and Averi Martin drove in three runs on two hits each. Carley Rollins added two hits and Makayla Krepps two RBI each.
John Milledge 6, Tiftarea 1
Marion County 3, Crawford County 1
The Eagles outhit Marion County, but also suffered three errors, leading to one unearned run for Riley Scaggs, who struck out eight with a walk and four hits. She had two of the Eagles’ six hits and the lone RBI.
Perry 11, Mary Persons 3
The hosts scored seven runs in the first two innings. Terra Odom went 4 for 4 with three runs and an RBI. AliRae Dykes drove in six runs with two doubles and a triple. Terra Odom had four hits, and Abby Ussery and Madison Homen added two hits each. Karsin Bass and Mallory Turner had two hits each for Mary Persons.
Tattnall 13, Trinity Christian 12
Taylor County 8, Manchester 0
Manchester coughed up seven errors for three unearned runs, while Taylor County’s Carolina Albritton struck out seven with a walk in a six-inning complete game. She had three hits and two RBI, while Ginny Deloach had two hits and three RBI. Shelby Hobbs and Kaleigh Harris also had two hits for the Vikings.
